 She’s known for speaking her mind, and now Gisele Bundchen is being attacked by cancer experts for a recent comment regarding sunscreen.
The Victoria’s Secret model dished that she doesn’t use sunblock because of all the chemicals they contain.
At the launch of her own organic skin care range, she told the Daily Mail, “I cannot put this poison on my skin. I do not use anything synthetic.”
Dolival Loao, head of dermatology at Brazil's National Cancer Institute rebutted by saying, “Sunscreen prevents damage to the skin and is of fundamental importance for the prevention of cancer. This is not any poison, when a public person makes a statement like this, it creates confusion." |
